TV BUYING TIPS

Is it HDTV?

YOU ARE HERE>>HOME ELECTRONICS SURVIVAL>>BuyTVTips>>TVsForSports
What type of TV is good for sports?

Plasma--beautiful, rich pictures. Clean fast response time. Excellent for sports, but can be more costly than other types of TVs of the same size.
DLP--Good value for money. Less expensive beautiful pictures, but is deeper and can't be hung on the wall.
LCD--today's LCD TVs have faster response times (it changes picture as quickly as the fast movement of the players) and motion compensation technologies to prevent artifacts, trails and jagged edges. If you want to save money, choose a DLP TV rather than a less expensive LCD TV.

TIP: Whichever TV you buy, make sure you have at least 2 hdmi connections (and look for hdmi-cec in the specs--more about this later.)
